English Speaking Environment

In most of the schools, English finds place only in the Reading and Writing sections. In AKC, the focus is on all the 4 skills of English i.e. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. Scholars are provided with regular exposure to these 4 skills to make them proficient in the English Language.

English Communication Classes

In our quest to improve the communication skills of students, so they can cope with the rising standards of English in the workplace and social setting, we have initiated English Communication Classes from Nursery to 8th grade by a team of Communication Trainers, where the focus is mainly laid on the verbal component, pronunciation, confidence, public speaking skills, etc.

English Communication Project

spiring Scholars conduct many surveys on different themes like Energy Crisis, Cleanliness, Water Shortage, etc. to make the people aware about various issues & also to practice their learned skills. The surveys turn out to be very successful & people have shown appreciation for the confidence as well as communication skills of the scholars. Through these projects, they not only interact with their parents and siblings but also gain confidence. Even the parents are filled with pride seeing their little ones speaking so fluently & impressively.

Smart Classrooms

Technology Enabled Smart Classrooms are yet another leap in imparting quality education to students. In AKC Schools, Blackboard Teaching have been supplemented by Interactive Electronic Digi-boards which enable the students to learn, understand and grasp Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, History, Civics, Economics, Environmental Sciences, English, Drawing, through World Class Interactive Programs Videos and Simulations like, Smart Class Interactive, etc.

As studies take place, through Interactive Digiboard systems, it is very heartening to know that the retaining power of students increases by more than 20 times as compared to the conventional chalk and talk method. This new, innovative and revolutionary teaching methodology not only helps students to understand and follow difficult topics but also makes them interesting and attention-grabbing.

Faculty Development Programmes

Well equipped faculty is one of the biggest assets of every organization. Faculty members need to be innovative and creative. In order to keep faculty updated with the latest technology and curriculum, Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) is an integral part of YS Group. The training methodology includes case studies, group discussion, games, simulation exercises, visits and classroom lectures.

Olympiads

We at AKC emphasise on Olympiad exams as they prove extremely beneficial for students. Open to Class 1 to 12 students, these national & international level exams help students in a number of ways. Olympiads promote the learning of skills in subjects like mathematics, science, computer technology and English language among students. These exams provide an absolute assessment of students’ knowledge and motivate them towards academic improvement.
